TUTOR REGISTRATION:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE YOUR REGISTRATION. YOU ARE DEEMDED TO ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IF YOUR PROCEED. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER.
1. Eligibility
- To be eligible, you must be a Malaysian Citizen, Malaysian permanent resident or a valid employment pass holder.
- You need to have a minimum academic qualification and good grades in the subjects that you wish to teach.
2. Commission
- A one-time commission of will be charged for any job offer that you accept. The commission payable is 60% of first month tuition fees. TUITION STREET is authorized collect the said commission directly from parents, before the tuition starts. Thereafter, TUITION STREET will have no obligations to either the parent/student or tutor.
- Such commission shall be paid before the starting date of the class. Any delay of the payment caused by you, may result your account will be suspended for non-payment and you will not be able to access your account. TUITION STREET reserves the right to take appropriate steps to recover such commission from you.
- The students / parents will pay the tuition fees for the remaining 40% of the first month directly to the tutor upon completion of all lessons for the first month. For subsequent month onwards, the students / parents will then pay the full sum of tuition fees directly to the tutor.
- If we still have not received the said commission after 30 days due to your fault, your account will automatically be deleted from our system. When an account is deleted from our system, your name may be blacklisted on front page of TUITION STREET .
- TUITION STREET will not be liable for any conflict or disagreement between the tutors and students / parents. We will also not be responsible for any form of damages arising in connection with your use of our website.
- If you fail to pay the commission without any notice, we reserve the right to suspend the class.
- Any attempt to cheat or deprive TUITION STREET of its legal share of commission, will result in legal actions being taken.
3. Termination/Cancellation of Assignment
- In the event where you are unable to attend the tuition, prior notice of 48 hours before the lesson time, must be given to the students/parents.
- A valid reason must also be given on notification. The tutor will be excused if the students/parents accept your reason given.
- If you fail to notify and provide a valid reason of your cancellation, your registration as a tutor with TUITION STREET will be revoked and an administrative charge of 60% of the monthly tuition fees will be imposed.
- The minimum commitment period is 1 month. In the event where you terminate an assignment within the first month, TUITION STREET will recover its legal share commission of 60% of the monthly fees from you.
- In the event where the student prematurely terminates the assignment during the first month, you will only receive 40% of the payment for all your service hours. However, if the reason for the student's termination is due to your fault as a tutor (eg. you are chronically late, did not attend lesson without any valid explanation, you do not know how to teach), you will bear the full commission charge.
4. Disclaimer
- TUITION STREET is a tutor referral service only and not responsible for the services provided by tutors. Each tutor is solely responsible in offering tuition fees, arranging tutoring schedules, paying all taxes on income earned, and all other issues and responsibilities related to tutoring. TUITION STREET does not keep records of the number of students and sessions taken with registered tutors.
- TUITION STREET will not act as an arbitrator or mediator for any conflicts or disagreements that arise between the tutor and the student. However, we are always prepared to offer our views and suggestions.
- TUITION STREET reserves the right to add, modify or delete any information on this website at any time without notice.
- You are solely responsible for the information you provided to TUITION STREET. TUITION STREET shall not be liable for any misrepresentation, fraud, or any attempt to misrepresentation, fraud, or inaccuracies of information provided by you.
- The entire risk as to the quality, accuracy, adequacy, completeness, correctness and validity of any material rests with you. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, TUITION STREET, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and representatives, will not be liable for damages of any kind including, without limitation, compensatory, consequential, incidental, indirect, special or similar damages, that may result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials contained on this site whether the material is provided or otherwise supplied by you. * Tuition Street does not involve in any tutor-student-parent interactions. Tuition Street is not responsible for any disputes, claims, loss, injury, or damage that might arise during and after that interaction. Teach at the student's house and interact with the parents and students at your own risk.

- TUITION STREET is a protected trademark. All other trademarks displayed on this site or through links to other sites are the property of the respective trademark owners.
